Henry M. Koch, Jr.


Henry M. Koch, Jr. has been a member of the firm since its inception. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Mr. Koch was admitted to the practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1967. Mr. Koch is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Koch concentrates his practive in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate Law and Zoning, preparation of Wills/Trusts and the planning and administration of Estates and Trusts.

Mark H. Koch


Mark H. Koch is a partner, having joined the firm in 2000. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the Widener School of Law. Mr. Koch was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court in 1997.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Koch was employed as Assistant Counsel at the PA Turnpike Commission. Mr. Koch is a member of the Berks County and PA Bar Associations and a past Director of the Berks County Bar Association.

Mr. Koch focuses his practice in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate Law, Civil Litigation and Collections.
Timothy C. Bitting — Reading, PA — Koch & Koch

Timothy C. Bitting


Timothy C. Bitting has been a member of the firm since 1989. He attended the Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of Albright College. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Law and is a graduate of Whittier College School of Law. Mr. Bitting was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bitting Served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Berks County District Attorney's Office. He has served as a Director of the Berks County Bar Association and had been chair of the Court of Common Pleas Civil Rules Committee and Environmental Law Section.

Mr. Bitting focuses his practive in the areas of Civil Litigation, Real Estate Law, Environmental Law and Estates.
Philip J. Edwards — Reading, PA — Koch & Koch

Philip J. Edwards


Having previously practiced at Koch and Koch in the areas of estate and tax law, Mr. Edwards recently rejoined Koch and Koch. 

Mr. Edwards received his undergraduate degree from Millersville University; his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh and received his Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from Temple University.

Mr. Edwards was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1984; and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association For Justice (formerly The Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association). He has also served as the solicitor for The Berks County Register of Wills Office from 1996 to the present; and is a past president of the Berks County Estate Planning Council.

Mr. Edwards focuses his practice in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury litigation, business litigation, orphans' court litigation, estate planning and estate administration.
